1% Inspiration and 99% Perspiration

_Albert Einstein once said, "Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration".

I feel that this is true for developing intuition and increasing psychic abilities too. Many people get caught up in family lineage, history and generations, and believe that there are a select few who are psychic or have the ability to become psychic. This is not the case at all.

Certainly, as with an aptitude for playing sports, there are some who are naturally more talented than others. But it doesn`t mean that someone who is terribly un-co-ordinated is not able to train hard and

become an all star athlete.  family history and predeliction  is something that can contribute to a person's openness to tapping into intuition and listening to guidance, but that's not the entire picture.It is my belief that much of  what is passed down through geneology is actually a learned behaviour. Growing up in a home where the concept of spirit, energy, prayer and manifestation are openly spoken, will  likely encourage a person tol be open to experiencing psychic phenomenoa.
To me, intuition, which is the foundation of psychic ability, is a gift given to all of humanity. Before we evolved, humans depended on that intuition to survive. EVERYONE is intuitive and therefore, EVERYONE has the ability to develop his or her psychic skills. A person's desire, or inspiration to develop these skills, is only a small part of the puzzle.

Truly, it is through hard work, or rather playful dedication, that one is able to develop his or her intuitive and psychic abilities.
