The key to increasing your intuition is recognizing when you’re receiving messages, and acting on it.

There is a common misconception that intuitive information comes through with the clarity of neon signs and marques – thank you Hollywood! For some, this is true; whether it is something they are born with or have developed. For many, intuition is much more subtle and is often brushed aside or overlooked. So, it’s important to understand how messages come through.

There are four primary ways that we receive intuitive messages: Through vision and sight (clairvoyance), sound and hearing (clairaudience), feeling and emotion (clairsentience) and thought and knowing (claircognizance).

Clairvoyance manifests itself in a variety of ways. You may see images or little movies in your mind or next to a person. You could see colour, auras, lights and orbs around people. Or, you may see repetitious messages in physical things (ie. License plates, clocks, billboards, etc.).

Clairaudience comes in a few different forms as well. You may hear voices or music in your head (this will often sound like your own internal voice). Externally, you may hear songs or music with messages that speak to you. Or you could be at a coffee shop and overhear a piece of someone else’s conversation that addresses something you are working through. *Disclaimer – this is not encouragement to eavesdrop!

Clairsentience is likely one of the most common ways that people receive messages – or rather one of the first ways, as we all receive messages in all ways. Clairsentience can also be felt in a variety of ways. You may experience physical sensations in your body. For example, feeling someone else’s sore stomach when you first see or think of them or goose bumps and shivers when someone says something that resonates for you. Clairsentience also visits through emotional messages; Feeling someone else’s anxiety or elation, or decisions that elicit an emotional reaction.

Claircognizance comes through thoughts, ideas and knowing. You may ask a question and immediately, before you have time to think it through, the answer pops into your head. You may just know something about someone when you meet them, even though you haven’t been told. Or, you could know that the phone will ring before it rings, and may be aware of who is on the other end, even though you aren’t expecting a call.

Start paying attention to the little messages that come to you, and act on them. Remember, your intuition will always guide you to healthy, loving and empowering situations! ~ Erin Lee

Manifestations

http://www.heavenleemessenger.com/1/post/2011/12/manifestations.html

http://www.heavenleemessenger.com/1/post/2011/12/manifestations.html#comments

Uncategorized

_Ah, it has been much too long since my last blog post. I shall have to manifest regular blog postings for the coming year!

Manifestations have abounded these last few weeks! When you set your intention to create something in your life, it's important to continue to "work" towards it by putting your time and energy into bringing it to fruition. This week, I've been reminded that it's equally important to take time to relax and allow your creation the space to grow. Continuously hovering over a project won't bring it about any faster.

A wonderful analogy is shared by Doreen Virtue in her Manifesting with the Angels meditation; When you go to the restaurant and place your order, you don't continue to check in with the waiter and the kitchen and ask repeatedly if they have placed your order. You place your order and KNOW that the waiter will bring your food when it is ready. And no amount of pestering will prepare your food faster! You've done your part, now let the kitchen do theirs.

The same is true of manifesting or creating - at some point you have to let it go, and allow the work to come back to you.

Today, I was speaking with a lovely lady while waiting for an appointment. She agreed that yes, it was best to let go and allow creative energies the room to grow. But she didn't know HOW to let go. What an excellent point! How DO you let go of something?

It is important to detach from the situation/project/relationship you are working on or would like to create. More often than not, there is a lot of emotion around what we're trying to create. Creations are frequently things we don't currently have in our lives, but would really like to add. There are also usually fears or other strong emotions associated with these situations, relationships and things.

Fears, or beliefs that such a creation in our lives is "impossible", can not only make us physically ill, it can actually hamper the process of bringing about the situations we need. Going back to the waiter analogy, once you've placed your order, if you run back to the kitchen every few minutes to see if your meal is ready, the chef is likely to get pretty ticked off. This would likely slow the delivery of your food! (Not that God/the Angels/ the Universe would get ticked off, but you get the idea).

So, put your work into your creation, and then step back.

In high school I was a math tutor, and I found one of the biggest issues my tutees had when dealing with a tricky equation, was that they got right down into the problem, rather than moving back. They got caught up in the details, and I could see them physically moving closer and closer into the page. As they moved closer, expecting the answer to be hidden in an element of the equation, they became more and more frustrated and lost.

When I pointed this out, they would physically move back, sit up straighter in the chair and take a deep breath before looking at the equation again. More often than not, the answer would "appear from nowhere". They had been looking so closely that they couldn't see it. Space, oxygen and balance made things clear.

The same is true with manifestation work. Often we work and work and work, look up, see that what we've been asking for or working towards hasn't manifested, so we work and work some more. My goodness, isn't that tiring? I know it is for me!

But, if we step back from the situation - physically, mentally, emotionally - through relaxation or by concentrating on other areas of our lives and creating balance, God, the Angels, Universe or just the balance of give and take (whatever your belief system is) have room to deliver what we've been working to create.

Many times, our manifestations will come in ways that are different from what we're expecting. More often than not, what we're given is even better than what we were creating in the first place. Bonus! But, if we don't step back and allow for something other than precisely what we ask for, we may miss out on an incredibly beautiful situation, person or relationship in our lives.

I know that that has been true for me. Several years ago, I was looking for a loving, romantic relationship. So I sat down one day and wrote out my "MAN-ifestation" list, hehe, yup, I actually called it that. My list was more than 4, type written pages long!

Knowing that space is important, I left the list alone and continued on my way. I was actively looking for a partner, but didn't pull out a check-list every time I met someone new. Several months later, I met a wonderful man and we began a beautiful relationship together.

I had forgotten about my list, but stumbled across it a few months into our relationship - shortly after we moved in together in fact. I looked over everything on the 4, type written pages, and found that of ALL of those qualities I had asked for, my new man was only missing two things. He didn't have broad shoulders and wasn't clean shaven. But EVERYTHING else was there!

Though we are not together now, it was still a special time that I would not trade. Had I not stepped back from my list, I would have missed out on an amazing person, and valuable lessons, in my life.

As I finish this post, I'm reminded of a quote that was shared by one of the speakers at a peer counseling conference I attended in high school; "If your mind can conceive it, your heart can believe it, then you can achieve it". You don't need to do it alone - ask for help, and allow your helpers (human and otherwise) the space to co-create with you.

Intuitive Creations ~ The Story of the Chakra Clearing Spray

http://www.heavenleemessenger.com/1/post/2011/08/intuitive-creations-the-story-of-the-chakra-clearing-spray.html

http://www.heavenleemessenger.com/1/post/2011/08/intuitive-creations-the-story-of-the-chakra-clearing-spray.html#comments

Uncategorized

_As many know, I wear a few hats: I am a Claircognizant Psychic and Angel Card Reader, Reiki and Energy Healing Practitioner and Teacher (this is what the HeavenLeeMessenger.com site is all about); and I am a creator of handcrafted soap, bath and beauty products (sold under SavonLee).Love and intuition have always been an integral part in the creation of my soap, bath [...]

_As many know, I wear a few hats: I am a Claircognizant Psychic and Angel Card Reader, Reiki and Energy Healing Practitioner and Teacher (this is what the HeavenLeeMessenger.com site is all about); and I am a creator of handcrafted soap, bath and beauty products (sold under SavonLee).

Love and intuition have always been an integral part in the creation of my soap, bath and beauty products; in fact, one of my best sellers, the Bella Night Cream, came about as a divinely guided "mistake". Five years ago, when I began the transformation of turning both hobbies into full time careers, inspiration struck! I was guided to create a new *MetaphysicaLee* line of products

for SavonLee that combined both passions in beautiful harmony.

The first *MetaphysicaLee* creation was the Chakra Clearing Spray; it was an incredible lesson in listening to intuition. You see, I knew WHAT I wanted to create - an aura clearing spray that would work with the chakra energy system, to help balance the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. I also knew the basic components; water infused with 7 different crystals (one for each of the 7 major chakras in the body) to make a gemstone elixir, combined with an essential oil blend to make a powerful spray. But I didn't know which crystals or essential oils to use.

So I began to research. I spent weeks referencing books and searching online for crystals and essential oils that would be beneficial for my newest creation. Frustratingly, most every source recommended different crystals and essential oils. Honestly, I was about ready to pull out my hair!

The Chakra Clearing Spray sat on the back burner for several weeks. At the time, I was participating in a weekly Reiki Drop In that my Reiki teacher led. One night, about 45 minutes before I was to leave for the class, I felt the urge to pull out my research and try again. In fact, it was more than an urge, it was a compulsion! I wanted to have the spray ready for the class. YIKES! Talk about a time crunch!

Despite the short time, which would usually result in a feelings of pressure and stress, there was a calm that came over me. I started reviewing my notes, but before the frustration hit, an idea popped into my head. Why don't I meditate and ASK which crystals and essential oils I should use? Well gee, that sounded like a great idea! It cut out the stress of intellectually deciding, AND it fit with the nature of the spray!

I sat with my essential oil box, which at the time, was full of approximately 80 different essential oils, quieted my mind, set my intention and turned off my brain. Honestly, I don't know how long I sat in meditation, but the next thing I knew, I had selected 8 essential oils and was blending what would become the Chakra Clearing Essential Oil Blend.

When I "came back" into myself, I was surprised by three things. One, the blend itself had been created with no consideration to top, middle and bottom notes. My aromatherapy training at the time had prescribed that there were certain proportions that should be followed to create a synergistic essential oil blend. (Top, middle and bottom all refer to the depth of an essential oil's smell. The top notes tend to be citrus' - light and what you first smell. Middle notes tend to be florals - the bulk of the fragrance. While the base notes tend to be the subtle, heavier scents that carry the blend).

The second thing I was surprised by was the fact that there were 8 essential oils rather than 7. I had thought that I would choose one essential oil to represent each chakra. It kinda made sense! When I sat back and asked why there were 8, I was told that there was one for each chakra and one to balance out the whole. But that it didn't really matter which oil was for which purpose - the fact was that they worked harmoniously, the way the chakra system should work.

The third was that it smelt divine! Despite the fact that I hadn't used the typical blending practices, and that the proportions were pretty wild, it was heavenly. Or rather, HeavenLee.

I added the essential oil blend to my gemstone elixir spray bottle and tootled off to my Reiki class. I was rather nervous about the reception. Even though my group was incredibly open and supportive, I was hesitant about their true reactions.

Everyone LOVED it! The Chakra Clearing Spray was a hit! Not only did everyone enjoy the smell, but the energetic shift and change was something that everyone noticed right away when they tried it. We've since discovered that the Chakra Clearing Spray is an amazing smudge alternative, when the use of smoke and smudge is inappropriate. It's fabulous as a personal energy and a room clearing spray, and it's incredible as an anti-road rage spray. Kids love using it too.

In the five years since its inception, the Chakra Clearing Spray has become the most popular *MetaphysicaLee* product I make. It soon became the foundation for new products, including the Chakra Clearing Lotion, Chakra Clearing Dead Sea Salt Scrub, and most recently, the inspiration for the Clean Hippie Goat's Milk Soap.

Had I ignored my intuition, I know that there is no way that I could have created anything half as powerful as the Chakra Clearing Spray that was given to me that day. On top of that, my intuition and guidance reduced my stress and saved me a lot of time.

Imagine what a person's life would be like if they listened to their intuition all the time!

Copyright 2011, Erin Lee

Welcome to the HeavenLee Messenger Blog!

http://www.heavenleemessenger.com/1/post/2011/03/welcome-to-the-heavenlee-messenger-blog.html

http://www.heavenleemessenger.com/1/post/2011/03/welcome-to-the-heavenlee-messenger-blog.html#comments

Uncategorized

_Hello and welcome! You are loved and so important to me - I'll be catching up next week.).

On Tuesday I had a whole swack of them and was just not functioning. I was visiting my parents, and in the late afternoon, had calmed enough to deal with a few odds and ends. Sitting in my dad's home office, I started going through the pile. One of the items was the Staples Catalogue that is sent out because of the business account I have with them for SavonLee and HeavenLee Messenger. I rarely ever order from the catalogue and canceling the mail out is on the long, anxiety inducing list of to dos.

Since I wasn't going to use the catalogue to order from, I was going to put it into the recycling. But then a crazy thought came to me that maybe it would be good for a Dream or Manifestation Board. I was obviously feeling the need to create more paper in my life - as if the paperwork around me wasn't enough paper already!

I started randomly flipping through the pages, when one caught my eye. On it was an ad for the Dr. Grip pen. My uncle had given me a Dr. Grip pen when I started college after high school, and I LOVED that pen. It was so comfortable to write with - the ink came out smoothly and the pen itself was balanced beautifully to prevent fatigue. Something that is very important for all enthusiastic note takers in college.

The only problem is that it ran out of ink within about a month. Fortunately, one of the selling points for this rather expensive pen, was the refill option. After my ink ran out I searched high and low for a refill for my favourite pen. My search proved to be futile.

"Dr. Grip, we had a good run, but there just isn't any ink to keep you going. I need a reliable pen with lots of ink. I'd love to be able to say it's really not you, it's me. But honestly, Dr. Grip, it's you.".

Eventually, I forgot about the pen and I moved on to a new writing implement.

But seeing the ad in the Staples catalogue brought my Dr. Grip memories to the surface. Listed in bold was the feature: "Refillable". Excited, I started flipping through the pages to see if I could find the refills. Surely Staples could not sell a refillable pen and not carry the refills!

Sure enough, a few pages further, were the refills for the Dr. Grip pen. Not only were there refills - they were available in TWO colours!

Ah, but it had been more than 10 years since I last used that pen. I had personally moved 7 times during those 10 years, and my parents had also had a big move themselves. What was the likelihood that I would still have my Dr. Grip pen?

I sat back in my dad's office chair, and just happened to glance over at his pen jar. Would you believe that my Dr. Grip pen, empty of ink for more than 10 years, had made it through my parent's move and was sitting there on the desk? I could hardly believe it either!

Excited, I pulled the pen out, held it in my hand. It felt amazing; it was so comfortable nestled between my fingers. "Dr. Grip, my old friend, you're back! We're going to get you some ink, and together, we'll write again!".

I am incredibly grateful and thankful for the wonderful people in my. I have the most amazing, loving and supportive friends and family a woman could ever hope for. Truly, without them, I wouldn't be who I am today; they bring so much love and joy to my life.

But on Tuesday, I found joy in a Staples catalog.

Copyright 2011 Erin Lee.
